Sebben in the 1st position of World Endurance Cup Rehearsal in the village of Boudheib

The Uruguayan rider Cecilia Sebben was crowned with the title of the World Cup Endurance Trial Race for a distance of 160 km, international “3 stars”, which was held in the Boudheib International Endurance Village (BIEV) in Al Khatem region, on December 9, while the rider Hassan Al Hammadi snatched the title of the International Race for a distance of 120 km, which was held in parallel with the trial race, which was crowned with success; where trainers tested their horses on the quality of the ground and the distance.

The race was organized by the Boudhieb International Endurance Village in cooperation and coordination with the Equestrian and Racing Federation. BIEV will play host to the 2022 FEI Endurance World Championships in February 25 next year after it was awarded the right to host the event following the Fédération Equestre Internationale’s termination of its agreement with Isola Della Scala in Verona.

Jockey Cecilia Sebben was able to achieve the title on horseback Lobita for Al Ain Endurance Stables with a time of 8:34:22 hours, at an average speed of 18.66 km / h, followed by Emirati rider Saeed Salem Al Muhairi on horseback Ahmad du Barthas for the M7 Endurance Stables with a time of 8:39:43 hours, and the Uruguayan rider, Andres Rivero, came third, riding SM Fabricio for Al Ain Endurance Stables as well, and scored 8:42:10 hours.

The race, which is the main rehearsal for the World Endurance Championship, consisted of 5 stages, and the distance of the first stage with brown flags was 40 km.

The rider, Hasan Al Hammadi, succeeded in achieving the title of the international race for a distance of 120 km, “two-star category”, on horseback Malikan Wajir 13 for Al-Aasfa Stables, covering the total distance in a time of 5:44:20 hours, at an average speed of 21.14 km / h.

And came in second place, jockey Cecilia Garcia, riding Jade FNMS for Victorious Stables, with a time of 5:46:32 hours, while jockey Bhairo Singh came in third place, riding Don Del Rey for M7 Endurance Stables, with a time of 6:10:16 hours.

Boudhieb International Endurance Village won the right to organize the World Endurance Championship 2022, as it submitted an integrated file to the International Equestrian Federation to host the tournament, and all the elements required to organize the tournament were available, in light of providing all safety and security requirements for riders and horses, in addition to the geographical nature that helps to make the tournament a success. Championship and show it in the best way.

On Saturday morning, in the village of Boudhieb, the scheduled technical meeting will be held with the heads of the teams participating in the World Championship.
